Purpose
Lead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process across Netafim-Orbia to ensure alignment between market demand, operational capabilities, and business objectives. This role is responsible for driving cross-functional collaboration, enabling data-driven decision-making, and optimizing service levels, inventory, production capacity, and profitability through an integrated planning process.
Main Responsibilities
Lead the monthly S&OP cycle, facilitating Demand Review, Supply Review, Inventory Review, and Executive S&OP meetings.
Partner with Commercial, Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Finance teams to develop and validate demand forecasts and business assumptions.
Balance customer demand with production, sourcing, and logistics capabilities to achieve service, inventory, and financial targets.
Identify supply chain risks, constraints, and opportunities, developing mitigation and contingency plans when necessary.
Monitor and improve key performance indicators including Forecast Accuracy, OTIF (On Time In Full), Fill Rate, Inventory Turns, and Capacity Utilization.
Prepare and present recommendations, scenarios, and analytics to senior leadership to support strategic and operational decisions.
Drive inventory optimization initiatives while maintaining target customer service levels and working capital objectives.
Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to align planning activities, inventory strategies, and supply priorities.
Support new product introductions, commercial campaigns, and business growth initiatives by ensuring operational readiness.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance S&OP maturity, planning processes, systems, and cross-functional collaboration.
Ensure data integrity and the effective use of planning tools, dashboards, and reporting systems.
Develop actionable insights through advanced analytics and business intelligence tools to improve planning accuracy and responsiveness.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, or a related field.
Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
Professional Experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in S&OP, Integrated Business Planning (IBP), Demand Planning, Supply Planning, or Supply Chain Management roles.
Proven experience in manufacturing, industrial, agricultural, or multinational environments.
Experience leading cross-functional planning processes and influencing stakeholders across multiple business functions.
Strong background in demand forecasting, inventory management, production planning, and supply chain optimization.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex business scenarios and translate data into actionable decisions.
Technical Knowledge
Strong understanding of S&OP and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) methodologies.
Advanced knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP.
Experience working with demand and supply planning platforms.
Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics tools.
Strong knowledge of supply chain KPIs, inventory optimization, production planning, and capacity management.
Financial acumen with the ability to understand the impact of planning decisions on business performance.
