Key Responsibilities:
Commercial Strategy and Business Planning
Develop and maintain the digital farming commercial strategy for Australia and New Zealand.
Prepare annual and seasonal business plans, including growth priorities, revenue forecasts, margin targets and adoption objectives.
Analyze market trends, competitor activity, customer needs and channel opportunities to identify growth priorities.
Define clear customer segments, value propositions and offer structures for digital farming solutions.
Track portfolio performance and recommend actions to improve adoption, revenue, margin and customer experience.
Portfolio and Lifecycle Management
Own the commercial lifecycle of digital farming products and services, including launch, growth, maturity and phase-out plans.
Lead SKU rationalization and support reduction of slow-moving or obsolete inventory.
Define commercial readiness requirements for new products before release to market.
Coordinate pricing, packaging, promotions and market positioning for new and existing solutions.
Work with Technical Support and global product teams to ensure market feedback informs roadmap priorities and product improvements.
Go-to-Market and Sales Enablement
Design and execute go-to-market plans for digital farming solutions, including launch plans, sales tools and channel communication.
Support sales teams with customer presentations, business cases, ROI narratives, proposal inputs and solution positioning.
Ensure digital farming solutions are represented clearly in marketing content, campaigns, events, field days and industry communication.
Develop simple commercial playbooks for sales and dealers, including target customers, qualification criteria, offer structure and objection handling.
Support strategic customer meetings where commercial framing, solution architecture or investment justification is required.
Supplier, Channel and Stakeholder Management
Manage commercial relationships with relevant suppliers and partners in coordination with Procurement, Operations and Technical Support.
Support supplier negotiations with market insight, volume forecasts, commercial requirements and customer feedback.
Build relationships with industry bodies, channel partners and strategic customers to identify adoption opportunities.
Coordinate internally across Sales, Agronomy, Operations, Marketing, Finance and Technical Support to remove commercial barriers.
Governance, Reporting and Continuous Improvement
Maintain accurate reporting on digital farming pipeline, revenue, margin, adoption, SKU performance and commercial risks.
Prepare regular management updates on performance, priorities, key decisions and support required.
Support internal process improvements that make digital farming easier to sell, implement and support.
Ensure commercial decisions support customer experience, long-term serviceability and Netafim brand reputation.

Strong capability to own and drive long-term commercial strategy for digital farming product portfolios.
Strong commercial and financial acumen, including pricing, forecasting, margin management, business cases and performance tracking.
Demonstrated ability to analyze market trends, customer needs and competitive dynamics.
Proven capability in product lifecycle management, including launch, portfolio optimization and end-of-life planning.
Ability to design and execute go-to-market strategies across sales, dealer and customer channels.
Ability to translate digital and technical solutions into clear customer value propositions.
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills in a matrix environment.
Structured, data-driven approach to portfolio decisions, SKU management and business planning.

Experience
Demonstrated experience in commercial management, product management, business development, channel management or digital solutions within agriculture, irrigation, technology or related industries, essential.
Experience managing product portfolios or digital solutions, including go-to-market execution and lifecycle optimization, essential.
Experience developing and executing business plans to drive revenue growth and market adoption, essential.
Experience working across sales, technical, operational and marketing teams in a cross-functional organisation, essential.
Exposure to digital farming, agronomy, precision agriculture or agtech solutions, desirable.
Experience working across Australia and New Zealand markets, desirable.
Tertiary qualification in Agronomy, Agriculture, Business, Engineering, Marketing or a related discipline, desirable.

Revenue and gross profit growth of the digital farming portfolio.
Achievement of portfolio adoption and launch targets.
Improved sales capability and effective use of sales tools.
Clear reduction or control of slow-moving and end-of-life inventory exposure.
Timely delivery of pricing, positioning, lifecycle and go-to-market actions.
Quality of management reporting, business planning and cross-functional alignment.
Customer and sales feedback on solution clarity, value proposition and commercial support.
