The Assistant Controller – Corporate Finance will support the group consolidation, financial reporting, intercompany reconciliation, and parent company reporting processes. This role is designed for a qualified finance professional who can combine strong technical accounting knowledge with high attention to detail, timely execution, and effective stakeholder coordination across global teams.
Key Responsibilities
Group Consolidation & Financial Reporting: Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation activities, including preparation of consolidated financial statements and supporting IFRS disclosures.
Management Reporting: Prepare accurate financial reports, analysis, and presentation materials for senior management and key stakeholders.
· Parent Company Coordination: Act as the key finance contact for parent company reporting and ensure timely submission of reporting packages.
Intercompany & Transfer Pricing Support: Review, analyze, and reconcile intercompany balances and transactions across group entities, including support for pricing schedules and transfer pricing data.
Reporting Accuracy & Controls: Ensure financial reporting data is complete, accurate, consistent, and aligned with agreed reporting timelines.
External Audit Support: Coordinate audit requests, provide required schedules, and support timely closure of audit queries related to consolidation, reporting, and intercompany matters.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency, data quality, and standardization across finance processes.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Chartered Accountant with 5–7 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, consolidation, audit, or controllership.
Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles, with practical IFRS exposure.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to manage and analyze large volumes of financial data accurately.
Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail and the ability to identify reporting gaps, inconsistencies, or unusual trends.
Effective communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders across different functions, entities, and regions.
Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in a Big 4 accounting firm is preferred.
Hands-on experience with SAP and CFIN consolidation systems is an advantage.
Experience in a multinational company or group reporting environment is preferred.
